About the role

ThinkOmni is an AI-powered ESG compliance and reporting platform for Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises, exporters and commercial property operators. The ESG Analyst & Client Solutions Consultant supports client onboarding and ESG reporting delivery. The role analyzes client energy, emissions and building data, configures the platform's reporting outputs for each client, and advises clients on their compliance obligations under Canadian and international sustainability disclosure frameworks. The role works under the direction of the Customer Experience & Technical Support Manager and contributes analytical requirements back to the platform roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client utility, building and operational data; validate accuracy and completeness before the data enters the platform's reporting framework.

• Configure client ESG key performance indicators, including energy use intensity, emissions per square foot and consumption benchmarks.

• Advise SME and commercial property clients on data collection methods and reporting obligations under the provincial, federal and international sustainability disclosure frameworks that apply to them, including building energy and emissions reporting regulations, the Canadian Sustainability Disclosure Standards, and European Union CSRD and CBAM requirements.

• Conduct building energy assessments and benchmarking analysis using recognized energy modelling tools to support client dashboards and certification outputs.

• Prepare client-facing compliance reports, gap analyses and recommendations, and present findings to client stakeholders.

• Assess client reporting processes and propose improvements to methods, systems and procedures for ESG data capture and disclosure.

• Document onboarding methodology, data intake procedures and analytical templates so that client implementation is consistent and repeatable.

• Provide structured feedback to the leadership and product team on platform reporting logic and analytical requirements identified during client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Graduate qualification in energy management or a related field.

• Minimum five years of experience in technical project delivery, client advisory or energy management.

• Demonstrated experience with energy modelling and benchmarking tools such as RETScreen, HOT2000, SAM or HOMER Pro.

• Project management certification (PMP or equivalent).

• Working knowledge of energy management systems and ISO 50001 principles.

• Strong analytical reporting, documentation and client communication skills in English.
